Homewood Suites by Hilton Amarillo

Super easy access from the hwy. Some sort of computer issue had the desk agent distracted - a manager did come in and handle it. But, she offered a water and wished us a good trip. Room was sparkling clean and spacious. More than we expected given the price point! Kitchen fully stocked with plates, glasses etc and an apartment sized fridge. Generously sized, fluffy towels, bathroom stocked with everything needed and some unexpected items as well. I found the bed a bit more firm than I like but my husband thought it was great. Hot breakfast was also generous and actually hot. Lots of options. As we left, I thanked the extremely friendly desk manager (?) (if not she should be!) I was introduced to Chef Ollie and the housekeeping manager, Ana. It was great to e able to thank them. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Great stay overall! The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. A few small issues like limited parking, but nothing major. I’d definitely stay here again.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Fantastic hotel & exceptional staff, especially Pamela at the front desk! She made me feel like a VIP! The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is delicious! I will definitely stay here every time I come to town.

Stayed at Homewood Suites in Amarillo and had a great experience overall. The real highlight of the morning was Anita at breakfast. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and just the kind of person who makes you feel like you picked the right hotel before you’ve even had your coffee. Honestly, she could teach a masterclass in hospitality. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want after a long day of travel. The only challenge I faced was trying to locate the remote for the ceiling fan. I searched like I was on a low-budget episode of National Treasure. No luck. The fan won this round. That tiny mystery aside, everything else was excellent. Great staff, great stay, and Anita alone is worth the visit. I’d absolutely stay here again… hopefully with a fan remote cameo next time.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We were greeted warmly by Jamie at the front desk and she continued to interact with the guests in such a positive way throughout the evening reception. The Wednesday evening social was fun and delicious, thanks to Chef Ollie who makes homemade dishes and sets out snacks. She made the most delicious tortilla soup which I would love to make at home. Healthy salad option and chips and salsa, as well as a variety of WARM cookies! Beer and wine were also served. A great way to end our nearly 9 hour drive from Houston, before continuing on to Colorado. Housekeeping manager Ana made sure our room and common areas were always clean and tidy. Thank you to all. This was a hard day, arriving September 10 and departing September 11. But this hotel was thoughtful and considerate. I didn’t get the name of the general manager (she may have been the owner too) but she was a delight to talk with before we checked out.

A great place to stay long-term. It is convenient to most of things. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. The only issue I have is the constant sound of room doors slamming closed. It constantly wakes me up. Management should have maintenance adjust the door closers to a soft close.

I've stayed here twice. Suites with small kichens and living areas. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Location is near good restaurants.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Amarillo while traveling home to Missouri. Our daughter is currently serving in the Middle East, and we needed to return home to take care of some business. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. While there are a few areas that could use updating, it is a very good value for the price. Jamie at the front desk was outstanding. She even called our room to make sure everything was okay. When we stopped by to purchase snacks, she was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Her service was truly five-star. I would rate the service five stars and the facility four stars — with a few improvements, it would easily be a five as well.
